New Social Media Tools For Your Online Marketing

One of the latest changes to Facebook that you may have already noticed is the new streamlined post scheduler. The process of scheduling a future post now has gone from 12 steps to four, which makes scheduling over weekends or longer periods of time quicker. And you can also drag photos directly into the posting area now, instead of having to locate the file through a folder menu as before.

Twitter has also updated its iOS and Android apps to make its search filter more powerful for mobile devices. The new filters let you search tweets of only people you follow, and there is also a new photo and video search filter where you can easily browse multiple image posts. This can be great for searching limos and vehicles that might be for sale, as well as keeping a closer eye on news sources you follow for information about particular subjects or topics.

And Linkedin has a new Showcase Page that lets users more easily follow specific brands and products. The showcase pages allow companies to highlight different aspects of their business and build relationships with the right community. This could be perfect for transportation companies that might have multiple brands for specific sectors, such as motorcoach, sedan service, airport shuttle, and weddings and retail service.

Community members can then follow the segment of your business that applies to them, and quickly receive all its latest updates. If you already have a company page, you can easily create the showcase page from the “edit” dropdown menu, to click “create a showcase page.” Once you have created the page, you can start sharing content.
