In One Blink, Another ILCT Is Over

I'M A PROUD LCT SHOW VETERAN: It is hard to believe that the 2013 International LCT Show has come and gone. The Show, which marked the 30th anniversary of LCT Magazine, was absolutely over-the-top in terms of educational content, networking opportunities and fun. One thing that I kept hearing over and over was how this Show was truly one of the best we ever produced.
The exhibit hall seemed to be packed most of the time it was open. There were more vendors on the showroom floor than I can ever recall, and the mood of attendees seemed to match the show theme of “Back in the Black.” Operators were buying new cars and reporting an increase in business. Limo life seems to be returning to some normalcy.

Despite the increase in business, the educational opportunities focused on helping those struggling financially to continue the growth pattern. There was a seminar called “Marketing with a Near Zero Budget” that was well attended. The presenter gave awesome advice for making your company name a “household name” in your community without actually having to spend a lot of money to do it.
There was a class on social media as well that taught attendees how to connect with clients using Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and other social media sites in ways that you might not have even thought about. I knew I didn’t know how to properly use the sites, and more importantly, use the sites to grow your business. The best news is they are all FREE to use.
I truly enjoyed the networking part as well. My favorite part of networking was all the people that stopped by the LCT Magazine booth to tell me how much they enjoy reading my weekly blogs here. As mentioned to you in Las Vegas, I always enjoy hearing from readers just to say they are reading my stuff. Don’t be bashful! Leave me a comment here. Let me know about your experiences at the Show. And see you again next year, for the 2014 International LCT Show at the MGM Grand!
