The number one reason you should attend LCT-NLA Show East is so I can hang out with you. But that’s certainly not the most important reason to attend and meeting me probably doesn’t even matter to you, but I love meeting our readers.

Let’s get to the more important reasons to attend. It is an opportunity to learn, to stay current with industry trends, to be inspired by great keynote speakers, and to network. You notice how I keep using the word, “opportunity?” That’s because LCT East offers many ways to grow your business. If you worry about the expense of it, I can assure you it is an investment into your company, clients, staff and yourself.

So many things change in our business from year to year. Back in the 80s, chauffeurs all wore a tuxedo shirt, pants and coat. You rarely see that today. In the 90s, we took reservations by hand and there was no such thing as geo-fencing. Times change and you need to stay current to stay ahead.

Affiliate Opportunities
LCT East offers at least seven networking events. If you are looking to grow your business by getting affiliate work in your city, this is the chance to break bread with affiliate managers from companies such as BostonCoach, Flyte Tyme, Commonwealth and Music Express. Even if you are not interested in affiliating with a group, you can attend Coffee Talk where the entire LCT writing team will be present to answer any questions you might have about the industry.

Getting Motivated
Jim Knight is a former executive of the Hard Rock Café and author of, "A Culture That Rocks." His hard-hitting speech will motivate you to take customer service to the next level as well as internal operations. He will set you ablaze with enthusiasm and teach you how to carry it back to your staff. We all need a little bump once in awhile.

Looking for Education
From training your chauffeurs to selecting the right software system, we have it all. Looking to increase your retail business? There’s a session for that. Want ideas on how to cut operational costs? We have a session for that, too! There’s even a Women Owners session is just for you ladies.

Exhibit Hall
Perhaps the crown jewel of the show is the 50,000 square-feet of insurance providers, finance providers, credit card processors, car wash equipment, marketing materials, software providers, industry app providers, and of course, more limos, buses, SUVs and sedans on display than you could imagine. If you need it to run your business, we have it under this roof -- all in one place at one time.

Have I convinced you yet? That tingling you are experiencing is the vibration of success! Meet me in Atlantic City. Stop by the LCT booth and let’s chat for a bit and share a beverage, experiences and some article ideas. I’ll be waiting for you to stop by.
