A Smart Stretch So Stupid It Could Work?

Just when you think you’ve seen it all in the limo industry, a coachbuilder will take a vehicle that has no business being stretched and turn it into a luxury limousine. The latest example could be this new SmartCar stretch from German manufacturer Limouzine.de.

The company will be premiering the vehicle at the IAA Frankfurt Autoshow next week, and it’s already starting to create a buzz. It’s listed as having a new, third axle, and is lengthened from the standard 2.69 meters to now 5.5 meters.

The new axle makes it a six-wheeler, and inside the cabin has blue ambient lighting, leather seats, dual TVs, and champagne and glass holders.
