Can’t Wait To See You In Vegas, Baby

Contrary to the saying, what goes on in Vegas, stays in Vegas, I promise you that you will be taking home a lot from the 2014 International LCT Show at the MGM Grand. Hopefully, you will take home a little cash too if you get lucky. Of course, I am referring to spending time in the casino getting lucky.

This year’s Sunday start day created a little bonus for me. I’m heading out with the wife this Friday to romance Valentine’s Day in Sin City and catch a few days of fun before I have to get to work. You might see my wife, Hillary and I at the Registration Happy Hour. Then again, you might not as we plan to catch a show that night, either Shania or Britney. You will more than likely find Ty Bobit and Sara Eastwood-McLean and editors greet the guests arriving in registration for one hour and even handout out complimentary adult beverages. If you’ve never been to a Show, this is a great networking event, very low-keyed and not a packed room of people. It’s very casual and relaxed and you can talk to the top people of LCT and the NLA.

Speaking of coming for the first time, if that’s you, be sure to stop by the First Timer’s Orientation session Sunday at 10:30 a.m. If you’re reading this blog, I would really love to meet you, mostly to find out why you really read me. I will be there for sure!

For the rest of you old-timers and our newbies, don’t miss LCT’s 30th Birthday Bash at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday on the trade show floor. You won’t want to miss this party. Obviously, our entire editorial team, sales team, events team, special products team and possibly even the LCT janitor will be there to celebrate and thank you for reading us.

Don’t miss the mingle-worth night club parties, Sunday at 9 p.m. at Ling Ling at Hakkasan, and Monday at 9 p.m. at Hakkasan. All open bar.

Show Schedule Here

If you’re a home-based operator who wants to learn how to relax while being in this business, come see my 8:20 a.m. session. I’m also doing a 3:30 p.m. session on how to market charter bus service. I’ll also be at the industry awards show on Monday night. Hope to see you there. Oh, I will also be at the LCT Booth from noon to 2 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday so come by, grab a high-top stool and let’s share a beverage. See you in a few days.
