To market the new 2013 Lincoln MKZ luxury sedan (whose hybrid version is part of the Lincoln fleet program) and help re-brand Lincoln as the Lincoln Motor Company, Ford has created a commercial featuring the immolation of an old Town Car. From the flames will emerge the new MKZ, symbolizing the brand’s rebirth into something revamped, hip and cool, like the legendary phoenix. The commercial is set to air later this month.

In the following video, Jim Farley, Ford’s executive VP of marketing, sales and service, talks about Lincoln’s turnaround plan.
