SIGN OF TROUBLED TIMES: A Bloomberg News article about the cutbacks in corporate travel and perks starts off , of course, with an easy target: limousines. Alex Mashinsky, owner of, is quoted. In our humbly biased opinion, the limo or the sedan is still a better value than a cab, a coach seat, or a rental car. Instead of giving bankers, executives, and managers bloated bonuses, how about rewarding them with frequent limo rides? -- M.R.
