Blogging can have several positive effects to a brand and the business, two of which is the dramatic improvement of getting found in the search engines and, as the article states, it can connect you to your audience. At InTheLeftLaneOnline.com, every member gets a free blog, but it is not necessarily the type of business blog you want for a company. As a place to exercise your blogging skill however, it's not a bad place to start. The most popular platforms are WordPress. Blogger and TypePad - for the less technical, I usually recommend TypePad. Some are free and others require a small fee. The real point is that cost is not the barrier to blogging and that it should be seriously considered for every entrepreneur in most every business.
