Two of America’s liveliest cities, Las Vegas and Atlantic City, have been selected as the sites for the ’85 Limousine & Chauffeur Shows and Conferences. These two locations were chosen to make it convenient for limousine professionals from across the country to attend the Shows.

The Las Vegas event will be held at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino. The Show will open at 5pm on November 11 and will continue until 3pm on November 13. The Atlantic City Show and Conference will open at 5pm on December 9 and will close at 3pm on December 11. Vehicles and exhibits will be on display in the Atlantic City Convention Center, and conferences sessions will be held at Harrah’s Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino. More than thirty-five limousines and livery vehicles will be exhibited in Las Vegas, and sixty vehicles are expected to be on display in Atlantic City. All of the largest and most respected coachbuilders in the limousine industry will be represented, and a number of completely new models and features are expected to debut at the Shows.

In addition to the limousines, dozens of booths will display products and services designed for livery operators and chauffeurs. Among the exhibits will be limousine accessories, chauffeur uniforms, representatives from the National Limousine Association, communication equipment, videotapes for livery services, insurance information, computer software, limousine promotional items, airport customer identification signs, information on limousine franchise networks, and other items of interest to limousine professionals.

This years Conference schedule will be expanded to include a number of informative speakers, workshops, and presentations covering many facets of the limousine industry. A panel discussion concerning opportunities and problems in the limousine will give participants an opportunity to listen and respond to some of the most experienced livery operators and coachbuilders in the country.

Special room rates of $65 per night have been set for Show registrants by Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and Harrah’s Trump Plaza in Atlantic City during the period of each event. A room reservation card is included in Show and Conference information packets which are available by circling the appropriate Reader Service Number on the Show advertisement in this issue. Hospitality suites are also available for use by exhibiting companies wishing to entertain.

These sessions are designed for chauffeurs, as well as limousine operators wanting proven information for use in training chauffeurs and improving customer satisfaction. Van Vliet will provide a detailed look at grooming, etiquette, invoices and charge cards, effective chauffeuring procedures, laws pertaining to chauffeurs, and many other topics of interest to limousine professionals. The seminars will be held at each of the host hotels prior to the Shows, and the tuition, which includes lunch, will be $99. More information on these seminars is available from Executive Chauffeuring School at (213) 534-3535.
