In April, Limousine Werks opened a new state-of-the-art limousine manufacturing facility in Schaumburg, IL. Limousine Werks is now located within 15 minutes of Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.

Limousine Werks has combined its three primary divisions - manufacturing, sales, and service into a single, expanded facility. "Being within close proximity to O'Hare Airport, we are able to sit face to face with clients, designers, engineers, service technicians, and marketers," explains Limousine Werks President Matthew Baines.

"An easily accessible location also allows us to further expand our al ready extensive training program for dealer personnel," Baines continues. "There is nothing quite like the experience of a personal tour of a limousine manufacturing facility. You can talk about all the intricacies of severing, extending, and reassembling a limousine...but actually seeing the operation is a whole lot more demonstrative."

Baines, a 12-year veteran of the limousine industry, feels that "total control" is the most important benefit of the Limousine Werks' consolidation and expansion. Limousine Werks specializes in Cadillac and Lincoln limousines, and specialty vehicle conversions such as Rolls-Royce and Mercedes-Benz conversions. Baines predicts that 1988 and 1989 will be record years for the manufacturing and sale of limousines both domestically and internationally.
