Attendees Say “Buy, Buy” To Exhibitors

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — The 2015 International LCT Show proved that despite vehicle market changes and the advent of transportation network companies (TNCs) such as Uber, the limousine industry can persevere and thrive.

The three-day event March 16-18 marked several milestones in the 31-year history of the event, which is the largest global business gathering of chauffeured transportation operators and vendors. About 3,000 attendees circulated through the Show, which featured 129 exhibitors and more than 100 vehicles across about 200,000 square feet of exhibit space. The vehicle and exhibit figures set all-time records since the first LCT Show was held on Dec. 9, 1984 in Atlantic City, N.J.

Vendor exhibit booths looked like a bustling Main Street, with its mix of old reliable businesses and new upstarts selling a wide array of products and services, especially in the technology sector.

Vehicle displays proved that limo and bus operators have more choices than at any time in the history of the industry. Every possible type of chauffeured vehicle make and model and interiors and exteriors were available from OEMs, limousine and bus manufacturers, and vehicle converters. Vehicle selections offered something for every possible client group.

In just one example, Temsa/CH Bus Sales, ABC Companies, MCI/Setra, Caio/Alliance Bus Group, and Prevost all brought large motorcoaches this year that towered over the other vehicles.

As always, vehicles are the main attraction at the Show. Lead sponsors came from the vehicle manufacturing sector: Official sponsor Grech Motors; premier sponsor Ford/Lincoln Limousine and Livery Vehicles; and platinum sponsor Cadillac Professional Vehicles.

In keeping with the times, and with the high number of exhibits, LCT Magazine this year is featuring the 2015 vehicle and vendor displays in online photo galleries.

The advantage of online galleries is we can constantly update and add to them, so if you don’t see a photo and/or caption for your favorite vehicle or exhibitor, be sure to let us know.
