On January 30, 2000 the St. Louis Rams won the most exciting Super Bowl game ever played in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Six hours after the game, Richard Lollar, 24 and Jacinth Baker, 21 were murdered in front of the Cobalt Lounge in the Buckhead section of the city. Baltimore Ravens All-Pro linebacker Ray Lewis was charged in the stabbing deaths of the two Ohio natives and later indicted by an Atlanta Grand Jury along with two other men. Lewis has proclaimed his innocence. Whatever its outcome, this tragic event highlights a number of potential problems for operators in dealing with dangerous clients and various criminal acts.
