An Anniversary Story

Executive Coach Builders started building limousines twenty-five years ago, and is not showing any signs of stopping. The company celebrated its anniversary by releasing a variety of new products at last month’s LCT Show in Las Vegas.

One of the first products the company released was an all new 100-inch car. They followed that with the release of a 130-inch Cadillac. Also new for 2001 is the 120-inch Fantasy III model that comes standard with three flat-screen televisions and a Sony Unilink system that runs both the stereo and television sound though the stereo system. The vehicle also boasts a new fiber-optics package and mirrored ceiling.

However, with all the new products released this year, the coachbuilder is happiest with the actual growth of the company. “Thanks to all of our customers, our growth over the past couple years has been extraordinary,” says Dave Bakare, owner of Executive Coach Builders. “Over the last three years we’ve increased our sales from 140 to 340 this year. Things have really progressed.” One customer who has helped in Executive Coach Builder’s recent growth is Renee Aymar, owner of Renee’s Royal Valet, Inc., in Plymouth Minn. She has been buying exclusively from Executive Coach Builders for the last four years. Aymar admits that she always customizes her vehicles, specifically with special air vents on the windows to help with the Minnesota frost. She adds that Executive Coach Builders has always met her demands. “They’ve always accommodated us,” Aymar says. “Executive has been very gracious. Their customer service is excellent.” Another point that Aymar stresses is that even though she doesn’t purchase a lot of limousines, the coachbuilder still treats her as if she does. “I buy about one limousine a year,” Aymar says. “I get the same treatment as if I were a customer that buys 10 limousines a year, and I think that is important.” But it hasn’t been just the customers that have attributed to Executive Coach’s recent success. The company has been diligently working to promote its image, and regain a position in this competitive market. “We’ve made a lot of strides in putting out our image and to get it where it should be – to where it was in the past,” says Tom Feilding, sales manager for Executive Coach.
