Handling Large-Scale Events

Bumper-to-bumper traffic never looked so good. That was the consensus as well over a thousand limousines crawled through six lanes of traffic to deposit their famous cargo into a haze of flashing bulbs and eager microphones at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Welcome to the 2000 Academy Awards.

What’s it like behind-the-scenes with the stars of the limousine world? They are never nominated for awards. Perhaps they should be—after all, award-winning actors couldn’t very well hoof it to the party. They must arrive in grand style, and the logistics of making that happen are worthy of a big-scale movie production. And know that operators can apply these same organizational methods to all sorts of events, be they for the entertainment industry, a sports extravaganza, or conventions.
