BusCon is the place to buy products and learn the bus business, for any limo operator. This year, the event will be held Sept. 15-17 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. The venue sits in the heart of the state capital, next to the Lucas Oil Stadium, which hosted the 2012 Super Bowl. The site has numerous near-by attractions for attendees.
The show floor will be stocked with the latest limo buses, executive shuttles, and full-size motorcoaches that serve the chauffeured and charter bus transportation industries.

Operators can view some of the latest models put out by premiere bus and coach manufacturers, including Turtletop, Federal Coach, Meridian Specialty Vehicles, Newport Coach Works, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, and many more. BusCon also has educational seminars ideal for limo operators venturing into the charter and tour segment, with speakers from the United Motorcoach Association and leading consulting and research firms. Operators can learn about how to safely and successfully operate a profitable charter bus business.

Notable Vehicles On Display
The BusCon Expo features buses from every facet of ground transportation, including public transit. However, a sizeable number of vehicles cater to the chauffeured transportation business, such as shuttles, limo and executive buses and vans, and motorcoaches. Here are some vehicles that will be on display that would interest limo operators:

The Ford Transit
The Ford Transit premiered at BusCon last year in Chicago. As it has rolled out through 2014, limo operators and coach builders anticipate the latest models and modificiations. Ford recently upfitted a Transit for a promotion to showcase the versatility of the chassis.

TurtleTop has different models that specialize in custom interiors for executive transportation. The Odyssey XL is built for large group transport and is often converted into mobile command centers and offices. The Vanterra XLT (shown here) makes for a practical executive shuttle.

Meridian Specialty Vehicles will show off its futuristic glass doorway that seals into place with a cutaway top that makes for easy entry and exit. The Meridian Sprinter has plush leather seating and a quiet interior that creates a classy executive transportation vehicle.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van
The classic van that has become a staple in chauffeured transportation will be displayed in all of its various models, with different interior floor plans and wheelbases.

For charter operators, the MCI J4500 Coach marks the premiere long-distance, and large-group travel bus.

The Turkish-built, high-tech TS 30 has a unified monocoque construction with sharp handling and packs passenger comfort into a mid-sized motorcoach.
