Temsa Unveils New TS 45 Motorcoach

Posted on January 17, 2014

After two years of extensive planning, development and production, CH Bus Sales, Inc. of Faribault, Minn., and Temsa Global, based in Adana, Turkey, are proud to announce their new 45-foot coach to the motorcoach industry: The Temsa TS 45. This Temsa is a new model, specifically designed for the North American operators.

The TS 45 debuted at the ABA Marketplace in Nashville on Jan. 14 and will do so again at the UMA Motorcoach Expo/Travel Exchange in Los Angeles Feb. 17. CH & Temsa held a press conference at the ABA Marketplace floor exhibit with speakers, Duane Geiger (CH Bus Sales), Tim Vaught (CH Bus Sales), and Omer Sozutek (Temsa).

Geiger, executive vice president of sales and service at CH Bus Sales, said the TS 45 gives Temsa a more diverse product offering, complementing its 30-, 35-foor coaches. A press conference will also be held at the UMA Expo floor exhibit. Anticipated TS 45 demos will be available in April  2014 and first customer deliveries are planned for July or August.

This 57-passenger coach is a fully integral monocoque design with stainless steel for durability. With a Cummins/Allison powertrain, 425 HP ISX-EPA 13 engine and B500 Gen. 5 transmission, operators can expect excellent power and optimum serviceability. A few standard features of this coach include LED headlights, a 6-cylinder Bitzer compressor on the HVAC system along with a full automatic convector system for the passenger compartment, ISRI seat for the driver, and 3-point seat belts for driver and passengers.

Key safety features also come standard on the Temsa TS 45 including a lane departure warning system, a tire pressure monitoring system, an engine fire suppression system, a rear parking sensor, and a break pad wear monitoring system. Operators can expect the same high quality driving experience that they have come to know through the Temsa TS 30 and TS 35 coaches.

CH Bus Sales, Inc. is the exclusive distributor of Temsa motorcoaches in the U.S. CH Bus Sales is a privately owned corporation with an industry experienced ownership and management team. Temsa is a fully owned subsidiary of Sabanci Holding, the leading financial and industrial group in Turkey. Visit www.chbussales.com or www.temsa.com for more information.
