SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Midnight Express has installed a new brake technology from PureForge that is designed to improve safety, increase performance and achieve cost savings on its fleet. PureForge brakes stop faster and truer than traditional brakes.

In 2011, PureForge began sales to the law enforcement field where its technology has been proven to withstand the rigors of extreme driving and stopping. "PureForge was a natural fit for a ground transportation company like Midnight Express," said Sid Forougi, owner of Midnight Express. "In addition to the added safety, performance, and cost savings to our fleet, PureForge rotors will significantly reduce our vehicle’s downtime and let our vehicles remain in service longer."

Midnight Express has outfitted all 12 of its Lincoln Town Car sedans with the new brakes.

These benefits are accomplished through PureForge’s patented Atomic-Forged technology. PureForge rotors show no measurable wear and once the rotors are installed they do not need to be replaced for the lifetime of the fleet vehicle involved. This delivers a substantial cost savings that PureForge passes on to commercial fleets through its unique Brakes as a Service (BaaS™) program. PureForge's BaaS program provides a fixed monthly cost that helps reduce unexpected vehicle cost and includes a warranty backed by AmTrust Group of insurance carriers.

Founded in 2006, PureForge is privately held and headquartered in San Diego. PureForge has available for order rotors for the 2003-current Lincoln Town Car models. Other models also available in early 2014 will include the Chrysler 300, Lincoln MKS and Lincoln MKT.

Midnight Express has been a mainstay in the Southern California executive transportation market since 1995. Working with worldwide affiliates and serving business executives and the general public, Sid Forougi has led this well respected company in Southern California. Midnight Express' focus has been to create a safe, reliable, and quality experience for its clients through professional chauffeurs and well maintained vehicles. These goals have been augmented by the early adoption of technology to improve performance and productivity. In 1995 every vehicle was installed with GPS tracking. The company went paperless and implemented electronic dispatch updating in 2004.
