Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van Converted For Luxury Wheelchair Transport

Posted on December 9, 2013 by LCT Staff - Also by this author - About the author

This week’s LimoForSale.com Editor’s Pick of the Week is a 2008 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van that has been converted to accommodate wheelchair passengers. The retrofit was done by Midwest Automotive Designs out of Elkhart, Ind., to give it the entertainment amenities of a limo bus, like wet bar, premium sound, and satellite flat screen TV, and the vehicle can accommodate up to seven passengers and a wheelchair.

The wheelchair lift is a Braun UVL Series installed just over a year ago, and it has an EZ Lock Mechanism and wheelchair straps included. The cabin features a mini bar with ice chest, refrigerator, microwave oven, pull-out tray table, and wrap-around leather seating.

The vehicle is great for a family that wants a nice, wheelchair accessible vehicle, or for a limo service looking to cater to clients with wheelchair mobility needs. This is a rare opportunity to own a plush luxury wheelchair vehicle at a great value for your money.
