DETROIT, Mich. — The official debut of the 2015 Cadillac Escalade SUV is only weeks away, and as anticipation builds, GM executives have promised that fans won’t be disappointed with the latest model. The vehicle will be unveiled this October in New York City, and industry insiders are projecting the 2015 Escalade to be both lavish and sweeping, while staying close to its standard body-on-frame design.
Sources are also anticipating the price to be high, estimated to be a few thousand above the current 2014 entry-level price of $67,985. Cadillac chalked up a total of 12,638 Escalades sold as of the end of July, representing a 1% increase over the previous year. On the whole, the Cadillac brand experienced an uptick in U.S. vehicle sales of 30% for the month – the best performance of any brand other than Porsche.
