Limo Vehicle Sellers Arrange A Big Showcase

COSTA MESA, Calif. — The red carpet rolled out once again for California operators attending the annual Greater California Livery Association Expo and Tradeshow, where more than 30 industry vendors, including top automakers, showcased their products and services to GCLA members.

The Expo is second only to the International LCT Show in providing operators a thorough comparison vehicles on the of limousine and livery market — now the most competitive with the most choices ever in the history of the modern chauffeured transportation industry.

Representatives from Ford Fleet & Livery Vehicles, the main event sponsor, along with South Bay Ford and Star Ford brought their MKT Town Cars, MKZ Hybrids and Navigator SUVs to greet attendees along the red carpet entrance. Several MKT Town Car stretch limousines, built by various coachbuilders, were also on display.

The new 2013 Cadillac XTS, Cadillac Escalade and Chevy Suburban represented the General Motors line-up. Sitting next to the XTS was the Chrysler 300, the Hyundai Genesis and Equus.

Crevier BMW brought BMW 535i GT and BMW 750 Li sedans to showcase to operators.

Buses of all types, from minis to party buses to full size luxury motorcoaches, were displayed by a variety of vendors including LuxBus America, Tiffany Coach, CoachWest, Nations Bus and A-Z Bus Sales.

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter executive shuttle showed up in several iterations from different vendors, as it continues to be a popular choice for corporate clientele. Mercedes was also represented by its S Class sedan and an SUV.

In addition to the MKT Town Car stretch limousines were the Chrysler 300 stretch limousines, which rounded up the vehicle showcase.

Operators at the event made it clear they were still considering the many options and choices, leaving no clear successor yet to the retired Lincoln Town Car Executive L sedan.

The same vehicles and many more from across the sedan, SUV, stretch, van, minibus and motorcoach spectrum will be on display Feb. 5-7, 2013 at the International LCT Show at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
