Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Reopens Manhattan Showroom

Posted on June 18, 2012

NEW YORK — On Tuesday, June 12, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and Manhattan Motorcars hosted the official grand reopening of the expanded Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manhattan showroom at 270 Eleventh Ave, New York. The new 5,000 square-foot showroom is the only official Rolls-Royce showroom in Manhattan and hosted an evening of VIP customers, Manhattan elite, prominent media and celebrity guests.

The new showroom features a serene gallery-like ambience away from all of the hustle and bustle of downtown Manhattan.

“Manhattan is the financial, cultural and commercial center of the U.S. and one of our most important global regions. We are happy to continue our partnership with Manhattan Motorcars,” said David Archibald, President of Rolls-Royce North America. “Our expanded showroom reflects our growing clientele and dedication to customers’ needs in the Big Apple.”

Artist Daniel V. Anderson was in attendance, and several of his adaptations of surrealism, cubism and futurism were on display during the event.

The grand reopening of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manhattan heralds the arrival of the Phantom Series II, which will be in showrooms in September. Among other enhanced features, the Phantom Series II will offer a new eight-speed automatic gearbox and rear differential to decrease fuel consumption by 10%.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manhattan is part of a 39 dealer network in North America.

Rolls-Royce sales rose 31% worldwide in 2011 to 3,538 vehicles, an all-time record for the 108-year-old automaker.
