2013 Cadillac XTS large luxury sedan.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — According to The Detroit News writer Doug Guthrie, the 2013 Cadillac XTS “lives up to expectations.”

He writes:

"Its face has striking new LED lights and the bold look of the CTS. But the lines soften as they flow aft toward classic Cadillac vertical taillights. There is plenty of room in front and in back of the quiet cabin. There is no wind noise inside the XTS. Road and tire noise also are well-suppressed. The trunk is a cavernous 18-cubic feet, big enough for five large suitcases.

"Many of the car's audio, heating and cooling functions can be controlled through the touch-sensitive surface of the center console. The panel lifts to reveal storage for cellphone and portable music players, which can be paired to the audio system through Bluetooth, USB ports and other plugs."
