DETROIT, Mich. — In order to help owners of the new 2013 Cadillac XTS get the most out of the CUE (Cadillac User Experience) infotainment system, General Motors will provide a complimentary Cadillac-customized iPad with each XTS purchase. The iPad will come with a CUE app, OnStar RemoteLink and the MyCadillac app.

The iPads will be the latest generation with Wi-Fi and are part of a bigger effort to educate drivers about the CUE system. The CUE app on the iPad mimics the touch-sensitive system found in the car, providing a training ground where users can get familiar with the controls and features.

The OnStar Remote Link app gives XTS owners access to real-time data from their vehicle and can unlock the car’s doors remotely. The MyCadillac App lets owners locate a dealer, schedule service and call roadside assistance. Every U.S. Cadillac dealer will have a technology expert available to help XTS owners get accustomed to the new features.

With a livery fleet incentive of $3,000, the Cadillac XTS W20 Livery Sedan will be priced at $44,495.

The Cadillac XTS livery sedan made an appearance in Los Angeles at the Greater California Livery Association meeting on May 8. Greg Maddock, fleet sales manager for Lockhart Cadillac in Indianapolis, said the XTS livery sedan goes into production in the first week of June.
