NEW YORK — In January, Ford revealed its 2013 Lincoln MKZ concept at the Detroit Auto Show. Last week, the automaker revealed the production model at the New York Auto Show.

The 2013 MKZ will be on sale this summer and sports three powertrain options: (1) 240-hp turbocharged four-cylinder with a gas rating of 33 mpg highway; (2) 300-hp V6 with gas rating of 26 mpg; and (3) the MKZ Hybrid, with a fuel economy rating of 47 mpg city/ 44 mpg highway. The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid also is one of three luxury livery vehicles available to the chauffeured transportation industry through Ford Fleet Limousine & Livery Vehicles.

The 2013 Lincoln MKZ follows a new style philosophy that Lincoln design chief Max Wolff calls “elegant simplicity.” To help distinguish the MKZ in the luxury market, Lincoln gave it an all-glass panoramic sunroof that is 15 square-feet. The interior boasts the MyLincoln Touch system with voice command and steering wheel-mounted buttons to run climate, audio and navigation systems, wood trim and leather seats.

The MKZ also incorporates Lincoln Drive control, which will help adjust the car’s behavior on the road according to road conditions and driver input.
