Baltimore Limo Service Satisfies Clients With Big Bus

Posted on April 3, 2012

BALTIMORE, Md. — ZBest Executive Global Transportation Services, based in Glen Burie, Md. and serving the Baltimore market, took delivery of a new 37-passenger HC-Series bus from IC Bus last week. With the new bus, ZBest will be able to meet client demand for higher-capacity vehicles. The $130,000 addition brings ZBest’s fleet to 40 vehicles.

Until this purchase, the company’s biggest bus was a 33-passenger, and when corporate clients were requesting higher-capacity vehicles for larger groups, ZBest owner Mert Onal knew he had to meet the demand. ZBest’s business is split about 60% corporate work and 40% retail.

“Demand has been up for buses,” Onal told LCT. “We already have a market for this vehicle, and we’re going to promote it to corporate clients as well as some of the schools in the area to charter their students for sports and other events.”

After doing his research, Onal settled on IC Bus because of the heavy-duty chassis, air ride, 22.5-inch tires, seatbelts and good warranty. “We wanted something that would be safe for the amount of people we’re carrying,” Onal said.

ZBest will run the bus at an all-inclusive hourly rate of $184.50 with a 3-hour minimum.

The company is also expecting delivery of a pair of new all-black and all-white 2012 Chrysler 300 stretch limousines and a pair of trolleys. ZBest got its first trolley last year after winning the RFP for the city of Baltimore and used it for the city’s trolley tours. The specialty vehicle also attracted a lot of attention for weddings, proms, and nights-on-the-town, so much so that Onal decided to add two more.

ZBest is also having a 20-passenger Yukon hybrid stretch SUV built. This will join the company’s 12-passenger 2009 Chevy Tahoe hybrid limousine and regular non-stretched Yukon Denali hybrid as green options for eco-conscious clients.
