Autoblog.com recently released spy shots of the upcoming 2013 Lincoln MKZ’s retractable roof. The 2013 Lincoln MKZ concept debuted in January at the Detroit Auto Show and the production version is expected to debut in April at the New York Auto Show.
Lincoln announced at the Detroit Auto Show that the panoramic glass roof shown on the MKZ concept was integrated into the sedan’s structure to give passengers a personal, open-air experience. The retractable glass roof is one of many features Lincoln is pursuing to differentiate their models from their Ford cousins.
The hybrid version of the Lincoln MKZ midsize luxury sedan is offered in the official line-up of Ford Fleet Limousines & Livery Vehicles. Due to recent spikes in fuel prices, the MKZ hybrid helped drive sales gains for the Lincoln brand in February 2012.
