DETROIT — Cadillac took top honors in three recent industry surveys:

Most Desired Brand: Cadillac is the most-desired automotive brand in the U.S. by men, according to results of a recent market research test. Buyology Inc and uSamp, two global strategic neuro-insight firms which measure personal and emotional connections, ranked the “Most Desired Brands in the U.S.” Among the 220 well-known brands across 10 industries, Cadillac ranked number one.

Top Vehicle Dependability: According to the recent J.D. Power and Associates “2012 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study”, Cadillac is ranked among the top three in overall dependability — ahead of Mercedes, Lincoln, Hyundai, Audi and BMW.

J.D. Power bases its “Vehicle Dependability” study on the reliability and durability of brands and models after three years of ownership. The study measures problems per 100 vehicles. Cadillac ranked third, behind Lexus and Porsche, and ahead of all other domestic brands.

Also worth noting, the Cadillac Escalade ranked number one as the highest-performing vehicle in its segment for the second consecutive year by J.D. Power’s “2011 Initial Quality Study.”

Most Connected Car: Connected World magazine awarded the Cadillac XTS a “Connected Car of the Year” award in the luxury category. The new XTS will debut the Cadillac CUE, Cadillac User Experience, comprehensive in-vehicle technology that merges intuitive design with auto industry-first controls and commands for information and media. The “Connected Car of the Year” is awarded to the vehicle with the proper balance of safety, convenience, and infotainment features.

“We have been very focused on designing, building and marketing vehicles that luxury consumers want and these surveys and independent studies prove that we’re on the right track,” said Ray Bush, Cadillac Professional Vehicle Program Manager. “The XTS is the next evolution of the commitment that we make to our customers.”

In recent years, Cadillac has engineered a historic renaissance led by artful engineering and advanced technology.
