SUSSEX, England — TheChauffeur.com reports that Swedish automaker Volvo, whose vehicles are widely used in the U.K. chauffeured transportation industry, has issued a recall.
Affected models are S60, XC60, S80 and XC70 vehicles produced between May 16, 2011 and October 6, 2011. Volvo says the harness under the front seats may not have been secured properly to the seat frame. As a result, when the seats are moved, the wire harness may get pulled and disconnected.
Chauffeurs who own these vehicles are being contacted by the company to schedule service free of charge.
