ARDIFF, Wales — The world’s first Audi R8 limousine hasn’t yet been completed but is already being requested for school proms in 2012. Limo Broker, the U.K. limousine firm behind the R8 project, wrote on their website that they “have decided to bring the completion date forward by several months in order to offer the exclusive Audi R8 limo for hire for school proms in 2012.”

Carbonyte U.K. and Limo Broker have already begun work on the creation of the white stretch Audi R8 limousine and said that “the design team is pulling out all of the stops to have the finished limo ready to go in time for the peak school prom and wedding season 2012.”

Limo Broker has even dedicated a Facebook page to the Audi R8 limo to allow fans of the supercar to keep up to date on the latest developments.
