One of the things that I collect, passionately, is paper. I look for advertisements, magazines, books, catalogs, photos and newspapers, to name a few. I came across a promotional brochure for the Peerless Motor Company from 1917 on my foray to the Alemany Flea Market.
Peerless offered five styles of automobiles. There was the Touring Car, The Roadster, The Sedan, and The Limousine. The Limousine seated five in the owner’s compartment, upholstered with imported cloth, and included a leather toilet case which contained a hand mirror, powder pad, address book and pencil. There was also a leather case that contained match and ash receptacles, speaking tube, arm-rest slings, folding coat rack, foot rest, dome light, two entrance lights, locks on rear doors and driver's mirror.
