The 2012 Lincoln MKZ hybrid.
DETROIT — To counter GM’s new 2013 Cadillac ATS mid-size luxury sedan, which also made its debut in Detroit, Ford has revealed its 2013 Lincoln MKZ concept. The new design reflects the new styling direction Lincoln is taking with its vehicles to overcome its “old folks” image and appeal to a younger generation of luxury car buyers.
USA Today confirmed that the Lincoln MKZ will have a hybrid option in addition to a traditional gasoline engine, while its less-luxurious cousin, the Ford Fusion, will have a gasoline engine option, a hybrid option, and a plug-in hybrid option. In November 2011, Lincoln unveiled its restyled MKS sedan and MKT crossover at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is offered in the official line-up of Ford Fleet Limousine & Livery Vehicles.
