DETROIT -- General Motors said last week it will invest $68 million to prepare the Oshawa, Ontario Assembly Plant to build the next generation Chevrolet Impala, securing about 350 jobs. This follows an August announcement of a $117 million in the plant to build the Cadillac XTS, the luxury automaker's largest sedan that will debut in February 2012 as the next generation limousine/livery vehicle to succeed the former DTS.
The highly anticipated debut will be held on Feb. 13, 2012 at the International LCT Show at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
