Cut Maintenance Costs With DIY A/C Repair System

Posted on December 19, 2011

GARLAND, Texas — IDQ Inc., a maker of automotive aftermarket air-conditioning products, has rolled out its newest product offering, A/C Pro, scheduled to hit store shelves in spring 2012.

The A/C Pro is a system that recharges vehicle air-conditioning with professional-formula refrigerant. “The A/C Pro targets leaks and seals them while recharging just about any vehicle’s air-conditioning system,” said Ken Motush, vice president of marketing and sales for IDQ, Inc. “Do-it-yourselfers simply need to connect a hose to a valve, measure the system’s pressure with the included gauge, and then squeeze a lever. It’s that simple and the cost savings can be well over $200.”

Initial in-store tests of the product were met with enthusiasm from consumers. Product features such as a patented trigger dispenser with built-in pressure gauge, extra-long hose, and "snap-lock" coupler allow users to recharge their A/C in as little as 15 minutes, saving money and time they would spend at repair shops.

IDQ provides live product experts to support customer questions and concerns seven days a week and it provides online help tutorials and videos as well.

IDQ Inc is a manufacturer of automotive A/C products for the professional service technician, with a broad product line that includes: value-added R-134a refrigerants, A/C tools and accessories, stop leak and leak detection products along with a full line of OEM-approved lubricants.
