The Industry’s Hottest Vehicles For 2012

Posted on December 5, 2011

One of the top questions on operator’s minds today is: What will replace the Lincoln Town Car? While many operators are buying time by stocking up on the last models of the iconic industry workhorse, they know the day will come when their Town Cars will clock their last miles and have to be laid to rest. And it will come sooner than we think, as such things tend to do.

But fear not, for while there is no single right answer to replacing the Town Car, there are numerous new and updated vehicle options from which to choose. The key factor in making a fleet purchase decision is an operator’s understanding of his or her clients’ needs.

LCT has compiled a guide of vehicles from select manufacturers and coachbuilders that have committed to creating innovative and reliable vehicles for the chauffeured transportation market. Operators interested in purchasing vehicles before the end of the year should read about Section 179 Tax Incentive, a tax rule that will allow them to deduct the entire expense on 2011 business taxes.

The following are links to photo galleries of some of the featured vehicles in LCT’s 2012 Hottest Vehicles Guide. The complete list will be available in the December 2011 issue of LCT.
