BUFFALO, N.Y. — Ford Motor Co.'s Buffalo plant is on the auto maker's list of facilities in line to receive some of the $6.2 billion of new investments included in a proposed new four-year contract.
Sen. Charles Schumer says the Buffalo Stamping Plant would bring back 120 workers laid off last month and add 400 new jobs. Ford would invest $136 million in a new stamping line.
Ford and the United Auto Workers union agreed to a new contract on Tuesday. The Buffalo Stamping Plant in suburban Hamburg stamps parts for the Ford Flex and Edge and the Lincoln MKT and MKX.
