MANCHESTER, England — Style Limousines of Cheadle, Manchester, England, has spent three weeks renovating and converting a seven-year-old Mercedes Sprinter into an "X-Factor Karaoke Bus” in which clients can sing along to their favorite X-Factor songs.
The interior sports a design inspired by the show's set, with bench seating, a karaoke machine, color-changing windows, dance poles and a disco floor. The bus can transport 15 passengers, including one wheelchair user. The interior is also adorned with images of show judges Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Cheryl Cole. Danny Cawley, CEO of Style Limousines, said the bus has been especially popular with the prom crowd and is being hired out for £220 (about $350) per hour. Style Limousines
is already working on its next project — converting a Scania coach into a "Vegas Party Bus,” complete with roulette tables and a large dance floor.
