High-Mileage MCI D-Series Has Low Sticker Price

Posted on September 14, 2015

This week’s LimoForSale.com Editor’s pick of the week is a used 1996 MCI D-Series motorcoach limo bus, located in San Diego, Calif., with a listing price of $12,000. The vehicle is a workhorse in the bus industry, and the D-series was built to ride for hundreds of thousands of miles of driving and hold up under tough conditions and use.

This vehicle has 400,000 miles, and was converted in 2010 to have the limo interior, which has wood-paneled flooring, leather seats, dancing poles, and lavatory on-board. The vehicle is great for proms, weddings, and bachelor/bachelorette parties, and it is still in good operating condition.

The diesel engine has been given regularly scheduled maintenance services, and the automatic doors still works without a hitch. The owner says the company is simply downsizing its fleet, and that the vehicle is a solid performer.
