Cadillac Unveils Sedan Bigger Than The XTS

Posted on April 1, 2015

Cadillac held the world premiere of the 2016 CT6 on March 31, creating a new formula for the prestige sedan through the integration of new technologies developed to achieve dynamic performance, efficiency and agility, according to a Cadillac press release.

CT6 marks Cadillac’s long-awaited return to the global prestige luxury segment.

It is one of the world’s lightest and most agile full-size luxury performance sedans, with dimensions and spaciousness on par with BMW’s short-wheelbase 7-Series, but the approximate weight, agility and efficiency of the smaller Cadillac CTS – which is lighter than a BMW 5-Series.

According to the Cadillac CT6 website: "Every seat and its immediate individual climate can be tailored to ensconce and relax its passenger. The specialty seats are designed to deliver comfort for hours on end, so that no matter how long the drive, you’ll arrive relaxed. Each seat comes with available personal seat heating/cooling and dynamic pressure technology plus available multi-setting massage programs for long-lasting personalized comfort. And with available reclining back seats, the rear passengers can have the best seats in the house."
