The next-generation chauffeured luxury Lincoln will have its display debut Feb. 14, 2011 on the trade floor of the 2011 International LCT Show.

DEARBORN, Mich. — Operators from around the world will get their first chance to sit in a Lincoln MKT livery vehicle and its stretch limousine version when Lincoln officially debuts the model prototypes Feb. 14-16, 2011 at the International LCT Show in Las Vegas.

The cross-over utility styled 2013 Lincoln MKT — with a unique leather reclining rear seat livery package — will succeed the 2011 Lincoln Town Car Executive L as the luxury vehicle from Lincoln for the chauffeured transportation industry. Production of the new MKT livery version will start in 1Q, 2012.

Ford/Lincoln marketing executives, engineers, and dealer representatives will be on hand on the trade show floor to give operators tours of the vehicles and answer any questions.

The MKT livery and limousine prototypes will appear on the show floor alongside Lincoln’s 2011 MY luxury livery line-up: Lincoln Town Car Executive L, Lincoln Navigator, and the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid livery package.

Lincoln officials ANNOUNCED THE MKT AT THE LCT LEADERSHIP SUMMIT in Chicago on Sept. 29. They confirmed this week the MKT debut at the International LCT Show.

In transitioning the industry from the Lincoln Town Car Executive L to the MKT, Ford will following the below timeline during the next 18 months:

• 2Q 2011: Order bank closes for the 2011 Lincoln Town Car Executive L

• 3Q 2011: Ford will manufacture the last 2011 Lincoln Town Car Executive L.

• 4Q 2011: Order bank opens for the 2013 Lincoln MKT (livery version)

• 1Q 2012: Ford begins production of the 2013 Lincoln MKT (livery version)
