The first prototype was displayed at the International LCT Show last month. ECB is gearing up for big demand.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Executive Coach Builders and Mauck2, a new body development and manufacturing company, have collaborated to build the industry’s newest class of limousine bus.

Unveiled in Las Vegas at the International LCT Show, the vehicle combines the innovation and luxurious interior design of Executive Coach Builders, with the exterior finesse of Mauck2, and the marketing aspects of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.

“As the industry turns to new and changing bus demands, the loudest cry is for something different, versatile and smart — something our customers can market well against their competition,” said David Bakare, owner and CEO of Executive Coach Builders. “We have definitely found the answer with our new Mauck2 venture. The versatility and overall appeal to both corporate and livery operators has created the new must have for our industry.”

“The vehicle design is more aerodynamic than typical box-bodies, complimenting the Sprinter’s already remarkable fuel economy”, said Andy Mauck, owner of Mauck2, LLC. Based on the Mercedes-Benz/Freightliner Sprinter chassis, the vehicle’s refined visual appearance almost obscures one of its key advantages: it is a full 10” wider inside than the standard Sprinter van body. The sweeping body design incorporates large curved-glass window, which give it a sleek and dramatic look, while offering passengers a panoramic view. Mauck2 has selected ECB to launch the new Sprinter wide-body into the limousine market.

We are offering sprinter conversion with many options that are basically designed entirely around the customers needs. We have are currently building a model created for family outings, a golf oriented Sprinter and a mobile office. Of course there are some limits and requirements, but we are basically offering an open canvas.

The model displayed at the International LCT Show featured:

• 4-Leather captain chairs with rocking and swivel capabilities

• 2-3 person sofa style seating

• 2 Flat screen TVs

• A refreshment bar

• Removable conference table

The following are also available, but not limited to:

• WIFI

• Full desks

• Writing desks

• IPOD hook-ups

• Upgraded sound system

• Wood accents

• Refrigerator

• Satellite TV

• Mobile office
