Cadillac Makes Plans To Knock Tesla Off Electric High Chair

Cadillac's first foray into the electric vehicle market was the Cadillac ELR, which came out earlier this year. The more affordable electric vehicle sells for around $30,000. Reports now indicate the luxury OEM will up the ante against Tesla with the an advanced all-electric luxury sedan to go head-to-head with the Tesla Model S and D.

Tesla Motors Inc. could have another competitor to deal with when Cadillac brings its fully-electric luxury car in the market in a few years. The GM-owned marque has a roadmap to challenge Tesla with its own eco-friendly motoring.
