REDMOND, Wash. — BeTransported.com is a cloud service powered by Microsoft private cloud technologies that offers EmpireCLS Worldwide Chauffeured Services’ proprietary dispatch and reservation system to all ground transportation companies that sign up. The system enables dispatches to assign the right driver, monitor their progress using GPS and real-time traffic updates, and deliver an invoice when the trip is complete.

Alan Bourassa, EmpireCLS Chief Information Officer, believes the software as a service (Saas) model offered through BeTransported.com could grow to represent and support 40% of the company’s revenues within the next three years. He said streamlining and automating IT tasks, as well as eliminating human effort, speeds up service to the business and makes EmpireCLS more successful. More than 13,000 ground transportation companies can share this benefit through BeTransported.com.

The Microsoft cloud technologies used by EmpireCLS and BeTransported.com are Mircosoft System Center 2012 and Windows Server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V.
