New Towne Livery Smartphone App Offers Easy Access

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Limo service operators have busy lives, and sometimes taking time out of their day to make a phone call or send an email can be tough, let alone search the Internet for the phone number or email address of whom they want to contact. That’s why David Bastian, commercial sales manager at vehicle dealership Towne Livery, created a smartphone app for current and prospective clients.

The Town Livery app, available for free download for Android and iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) smartphones and tablets, lets users contact Bastian via phone or email, connect with him on Facebook and Twitter, download new and used vehicle information, and access exclusive MKT Town Car educational YouTube videos with an easy tap on the screen.

“The whole idea [behind the app] was to keep in better contact with customers and make it easier for them to access us,” Bastian told LCT. “If they have a need for a vehicle and they want information, I want them to be able to get it conveniently and efficiently through their smartphone or tablet.”

Additional features include live streaming of LCT’s Facebook Timeline posts, instant access to Bastian’s BlogTalkRadio program, The Limo Show, and a calendar of industry and National Limousine Association events. Eventually, Bastian will have the ability to push messages to clients directly from the app.

Bastian said he hopes the app will be downloaded by all of his current clients as well as prospective clients who many need vehicles in the future. “I’m open to feedback from operators. If there is information that someone feels is important, or that the app is missing something that would be beneficial to them, I want them to get in touch with me and tell me because I want the app to be as user-friendly as possible.”

The app was developed by Conduit Mobile and can be downloaded by clicking here or by scanning the QR below with your smartphone.
