TORRANCE, Calif. — Limousine, Charter & Tour Magazine on Wednesday launched a Pinterest page to connect with a wider online audience and deliver visually-driven industry information in an appealing format.
Within LCT’s Pinterest page is a board called “Wedding & Special Event Limos,” which will be used to promote the services of limousine operators who serve the wedding and special events market. Pinterest is the third most popular social media network, behind Facebook and Twitter, respectively.
In addition to the “Wedding & Special Event Limos” board, LCT’s Pinterest page will feature boards dedicated to limo industry vehicle exteriors and interiors and quotes from features and news articles.
As you will read on the Social Media Page in the upcoming May 2012 LCT Fact Book issue, Pinterest is an excellent way for chauffeured transportation companies to promote their services and vehicles. Pinterest users are nearly 70% female, and 28% live in households with annual incomes of more than $100,000 — a demographic marketing target suitable for chauffeured transportation operators. The key to using Pinterest is high-quality, professional photos that showcase an experience more so than a product or service.
