Australian Limo Operation Launches iPhone and iPad Apps

Posted on August 24, 2011

MELBOURNE, Australia — Six Star Limousine has announced the release of its proprietary iPhone and iPad apps, becoming the only company in the Melbourne region to offer a complete mobile system for clients and chauffeurs alike.

The iPhone app allows clients to select the Australian state for which they need a vehicle and select from Six Star’s fleet, which ranges from the Chrysler 300 to the Mercedes S Class. Once the client has selected her vehicle, he can instantly view the quotes and book directly from the app.

A complement to the iPhone app is the iPad app aimed primarily at chauffeurs. It allows chauffeurs to make customized name cards to attract the attention of their clients. They also can customize the design of the placard with the ability to change background color, text, font style, font color, and text placement.

Six Star Limousine is a premier limousine service in Melbourne, Australia. The launch of the iPhone app from Six Star Limousine has eased the vehicle reservation process and is the start of new customer relations with an emphasis on technology.

LCT was unable to reach the company for comment, but will follow up for the November 2011 technology issue.
