LAS VEGAS, Nev. — What had started out as a simpler way to swap business among operator friends has evolved into a viable industry platform for managing and verifying farm-in and farm-out runs.
RATEBUTLER.COM, an online affiliate network management tool, has exceeded 428 users and grows each day.
“Make no mistake about it, this is the future of managing business-2-business relationships in our industry,” said Michael Lindsey, the programs creator. “It is archaic to be emailing and faxing information to each other that is outdated the minute we make a change to anything operationally related to our business.”
RateButler.com allows companies to keep one simple affiliate profile of its business online and “share” it with only those companies they wish to share it with.
Lindsey presented two informational seminars at the 2011 International LCT Show in Las Vegas last week to a packed house of more than 450 attendees. The seminars answered many questions that people had about the program, and demonstrated the newest Version 3.0 that will be released this week.

The site will be brought down on Wednesday morning, Feb. 23 in order to move all the existing company information over to the new platform, and then it will be turned back on the morning of Thursday, Feb. 24.
