The iPhone application allows users to search for and book green vehicles.
NEW YORK — Travel-technology provider GROUNDLINK has released its second iPhone app, allowing users to book “green” vehicles to get around cities throughout the world.
Users also can organize search results by lowest price, highest service rating, or soonest and nearest available driver before booking a ride.
“Over 5,000 of our transportation providers offer green vehicles — all forms, including hydrogen fleets in Los Angeles,” said CEO Alex Mashinsky. “It’s not all hybrids and electrics. Some countries have promoted natural-gas vehicles.”
GROUNDLINK had previously RELEASED AN APP with travel search website KAYAK that allowed users to find and book ground transportation worldwide.
