LimoForSale.com Gets A Fresh New Look

Posted on January 17, 2014 by

Many of you have been using LimoForSale.com already and found it useful to your business. Now, LimoForSale.com has been completely upgraded, soup to nuts, to make it even easier for you to search for the widest range of limousines and chauffeured vehicles for sale nationwide. Now you can search by coachbuilder, location, vehicle makes and models, and year to find precisely what you’re looking for in the area that you want.

The site, owned and operated by Bobit Business Media, parent company of LCT Magazine, brings together all types of vehicles from the chauffeured transportation industry, including stretches, mini-buses, vintage vehicles and custom stretch conversions. Even large-scale party buses and motorcoaches will be listed on LimoForSale.com. With its new geo-location feature, you can browse where the closest vehicles are in your area.

If you have a limousine to sell, you can purchase a single listing on LimoForSale.com for $90, with a pro-rated rate for multiple listing buys. The new look was prompted by a growing increase in the amount of traffic and postings on the site. Since the re-launch in November 2013, the numbers have gone up.

You may register for the LimoForSale’s Weekly Reporter e-newsletter (link at top of page), where LCT editors pick one featured listing from the limo showcase each week for a more detailed write-up, and stories on fleet management. It goes out every Monday. With the new mobile viewing feature on LimoForSale.com, you’ll be able to see the latest vehicles posted for sale on your mobile smart phone or tablet device. Look around the site, www.limoforsale.com, and go through some of the key features highlighted here.

Homepage

The first thing you’ll notice about the new website is the tabs on the homepage. You can now search for vehicles using four different tabs at the top.

Newest Listing
You can browse the most recent vehicles posted on the site.

Map Search
The map search tab allows you to search by location. Pick any zip code and radius range, and vehicles that are listed for sale will show their pinned locations.

Featured
Featured Listings are from posters who pay $10 extra to get premium placement in the limo showcase and the possibility of being featured in LCT’s weekly LimoForSale.com Editors’ Pick of the Week that goes out in the LimoForSale.com e-newsletter every Monday.

Adding A New Listing
Making a listing on LimoForSale.com has never been easier.

1. First register to create an account to buy listing space.

2. Then when you go to purchase a listing, you select the type of vehicle and then select a listing package.

3. Enter in the vehicle specifics, such as year built, body style, coachbuilder, etc., and select safety and premium features such as sunroof or video monitoring, strobe lights, even financing details, and finally leave some personal comments about the vehicle.

4. Now you can upload up to eight photos of the vehicle. Remember to make sure the photos are sharp and of decent resolution so prospective buyers can get a good view of the vehicle. Max file size is 5 MB.

Once that is completed, you simply fill out the credit card information and submit the order. Your posting will be online. If you ordered a multiple listing package you can upload new vehicles the same way up to your allotted number of listings.

Listing Details View
Whether you’re looking to sell a limousine or buy, you should still register an account, because browsing under your domain allows you to bookmark and save different listings.

You can add listings you come across to the compare list. When you click compare, it will match them up in columns so you can easily see their breakdown on vehicle features.

Mobile Applications
LimoForSale.com can be accessed through mobile devices. Apps are available for both Android and iOS that you can download for free.
