What's Riding On The Uber Lawsuit: Fear it or embrace it, an employment shift is under way because technology is too efficient in too many ways to be impeded. Attorney Withdraws From Uber Idea Theft Suit: Despite making headlines and a fancy press conference back in May, one man’s lawsuit against ride-hailing company Uber for allegedly stealing his idea has lost a key player: the man’s attorney. Fortune Magazine article here

Uber To Customers: You're On Your Own: "Uber does not guarantee the quality, suitability, safety or ability of third party providers. The TNC just e-blasted its users announcing it has returned to Sin City, a day after gaining operating permits in Nevada. After Uber failed to comply with state licensing protocols in Nevada — as it has been known to do — the service was banned last year. The Verge article here

Second Taxi App Hits NYC Market: Earlier this month, New York City taxis got a new app called Arro to help them challenge Uber's dominance in the e-hail market.
