GOBBLERS, NIBBLERS & SLURPERS: Drowning in debt and too timid to make sensible cuts, many state legislators are coming for small businesses through fees, rules, fines, and increased taxes.

If they’re going after laundry, roofing, and lawn care services, you can bet limousine services will get the extra once-over as possible candidates for revenue raising.

This report from Kiplinger mentions the possibility of a limousine sales tax in Kentucky. Don’t count on such efforts to be confined to just that state.
